Georgian Town House London United Kingdom
VIDEO   GALLERY This imposing Georgian Town House, built c1795 with later Victorian side extension c1840, had been ruthlessly converted to 4 flats in the 1960’s. The work, under the supervision of the Historical Buildings Department, was to restore the property back into a grand single-occupancy family home, using reclaimed period materials, fashioned to the exact specification of the original. A Victorian style conservatory was added to the rear at upper ground floor level. The finished home consisted of 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 reception rooms, conservatory, and a 4-car basement garage. The project received a commendation from English Heritage, for the exacting and faithful restoration. Build size: 4,000 sq ft Project duration: 2 years Georgian Town House
